Health Care Options

Medical Insurance
Marietta Wrecker Service offers two health plans including an HMO and POS with BlueCross BlueShield Healthcare Plan of Georgia. Our goal is to be able to offer health insurance that is affordable for our employees as well as their families. The HMO offers lower out-of-pocket costs. The POS is a point-of-service plan that offers in-network and out-of-network levels of coverage. Full Time Employees are eligible for coverage after 90 days.

Hospitalization
Hospital Protection Insurance allows reimbursement for annual hospitalization confinement, daily hospital confinement, invasive diagnostic exams and surgical operations.

Dental Insurance
Dental care is offered by Companion Life Dental Insurance. The plan allows you to choose any dentist that you would prefer. The Dental coverage offers extremely low out-of-pocket costs.

Vision Care
Vision Now is vision insurance that covers eye examinations, vision correction, specific eye diseases/disorders, eye surgery and permanent visual impairment.

Personal Cancer Indemnity Plan
Although health insurance can help offset the costs of cancer treatment, you may still have to cover deductibles and copayments on your own. Additionally, cancer treatment can cause out-of-pocket expenses that are not covered by traditional health insurance. Meanwhile, living expenses continue whether or not you are able to work. Aflac helps provide an important safety net in fighting the financial consequences of cancer that result beyond traditional health insurance. Aflac's Personal Cancer Indemnity Plan pays benefits directly to you.

Protecting Your Family's Income

Life Insurance
Life insurance can be an important part of your personal safety net, especially if you have financial dependents. Life insurance is offered by Companion Life as well as Aflac depending upon the plan that you choose and your needs.
Hospitalization Hospital Protection Insurance allows reimbursement for annual hospitalization confinement, daily hospital confinement, invasive diagnostic exams and surgical operations.

Short Term Disability
Short Term Disability is offered to all of our full-time employees in case they are unable to work because of a disability. Aflac’s Personal Disability Income Protector allows our employees to choose a level of coverage that best meets their individual financial needs. The monthly benefit ranges from $500 - $5000.

Accidental Insurance
Personal Accident Indemnity Plan is an accident-only insurance policy that covers emergency treatments, follow-up treatments, initial hospitalization, hospital confinement, physical therapy, accidental-death, wellness and much more. Single and Family coverage is available for the Accidental Insurance.

Financial Planning
Sometimes we all need a little guidance on financial planning and spending. MWS offers financial planning to all employees so that they have the opportunity to meet one on one with a Financial Planner to discuss spending habits, savings, retirement, etc.

Time Away From Work

Vacation
All full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week are eligible for one week of paid vacation after one year of service and two weeks of vacation after five years of service.

Family and Medical Leave Act
You may take time away from work and have the right to job protection and continuation of benefits while on an unpaid leave for a period of up to 12 weeks during a rolling 12-month period for the following situations:

• Birth of a child, or placement of a child with you for adoption or foster care
• Serious health condition of a spouse, child or parent for whom you are needed to
provide care
• Your own serious health condition

Holidays
Marietta Wrecker Service is open 24 hours a day and seven days a week throughout the entire year, therefore we do not have paid holidays.
